We had a great stay overall. The rooms were clean, the staff was welcoming and hospitable, and the food was very good. The only downside was the view from our room—it overlooked a wall and several AC units. Perhaps there’s a way to improve that area, or those rooms could be offered at a discounted rate with full disclosure about the view. We especially enjoyed the beach and the pool, and appreciated that neither was overly crowded, which made for a very relaxing atmosphere. The Top Shelf Margarita was excellent. We ordered the same drink on Monday at the Tavern, but it wasn’t quite the same since the bartender didn’t include the orange liqueur like the other bartenders did. Overall, we had a wonderful, relaxing experience and would definitely consider returning.

Our family of four booked a last-minute vacation package through Costco that included flights, a resort stay, and a rental car at a surprisingly affordable price. We had a wonderful time at the resort. The room was spacious, clean, and well air-conditioned. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist us. The location was very convenient, and they even provided a trolley service to take guests to downtown Clearwater, which was a nice bonus. The standard breakfast was included for two guests rather than all four family members, so that is something to keep in mind when booking. The gym, located on the first floor, was well maintained and equipped with modern exercise equipment. The resort's private beach is about one-third of a mile away, but they provide a shuttle cart to transport guests back and forth, making it very convenient. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and truly enjoyed our stay. We would gladly return in the future.

I have never in my life seen a beachfront resort charge guests for beach chair usage. Be prepared to shell out $70/day for 3 chairs. The staff are a little clueless. Our room phone wouldn’t dial room service so we went down to the front desk and their only solution was for us to go to the restaurant. We said we wanted to dine in our room, and they just shrugged cluelessly. We asked to call room service from the front desk phone but they refused. It took us 10 min of back and forth until they finally agreed to let us call. Not sure why they pushed back for so long. The recently renovated rooms are great. Bright, modern, and well finished - definitely the best part of this hotel. The pool area is decent though not very big, and the beach views are nice (except for the chair rip-off). The beach itself is pebble-y and definitely not as nice as the one on the north island.

Valentine’s Weekend Stay – Extremely Disappointing Experience We booked a Valentine’s weekend stay and paid well over $1,200 for two nights in a 6th-floor king room with balcony and ocean view. We checked in Friday around 4:30 p.m., expecting a relaxing oceanfront getaway. Unfortunately, we ended up leaving by 1:00 a.m. The guests in the connecting room next to us were extremely loud and disruptive well past 11:00 p.m. — shouting, cutting up, and making it impossible to rest. We called the front desk twice and contacted security, but there was no meaningful resolution. While the staff was polite, the issue was never effectively addressed. The hotel’s solution was to downgrade us to a two-bed queen room with no ocean view. That was a significant downgrade from the premium king oceanfront balcony room we had reserved and paid for, and it did not feel like an appropriate remedy. Additionally, the recently remodeled rooms feel sterile and lack the warmth and comfort one would expect from a high-end oceanfront property.
